1. How should I wash and care for cashmere?
Mawei garments are crafted from premium quality cashmere. With proper care, your knitwear will comfort you for many seasons to come. Your garments can be washed by hand or by machine. Handwash in cold water with a wool or cashmere detergent. Machine wash with a laundry bag and a delicate wool program: 30 C and 400 rpm. When drying, reshape the garment flat on a towl. 2. Will my garment pill, how to prevent it?
Pilling is a natural part when wearing soft, natural fibers like cashmere and occurs through friction. The degree of pilling can vary depending on colour, fiber length, knitting structure and how the piece is worn. In fact, pilling is a characteristic of authentic cashmere. Use a cashmere comb to gently remove pills, especially after the first few wears or washes. With care, pilling will reduce over time and your garment will maintain its softness and beauty.
3. How are the garment measurements taken?
All garment measurements are taken in centimeters with the piece laid flat. For inquires on sizing, please email us at care@mawei.no
4. Why might the measurements vary slightly?
Please use our measurements as a general guide, as small variations are to be expected. Allow for a difference of about 1–1.5 cm in body length and 2–2.5 cm in chest or hem width, as a natural tolerance is common in all knitted garments. The dyeing process can influence how yarn behaves, darker or more heavily dyed colours may tighten slightly, while lighter shades can remain softer and looser. These natural differences, along with individual handling during production, may result in slight variations in measurements.
ORDERS & PAYMENT
1. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Klarna.
2. When will payment for my order be taken?
Payment is taken once your order is processed and confirmed. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your order has been processed.
3. Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
Unfortunately, we can not change or cancel an order once it has been submitted as our warehouse processes orders as soon as it’s placed.
4. Can I send an order as a gift?
Orders can be sent to any address; however multiple delivery addresses can not be used on the same order. Please note that we do not offer gift receipts, and pricing will be visible on the order invoice.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
1. Where do you ship?
We currently ship within Norway.
2. How much does shipping cost?
Standard delivery for all orders is 79 kr within Norway.
3. How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery in Norway takes 2-4 Working days.
4. How can I track my order?
A confirmation email with the courier tracking information will be sent once an order has been dispatched.
RETURN AND EXCHANGES
1. What is your return and exchange policy?
We will refund any unworn or unused items purchased online and returned in their original condition and package within 14 days of receipt.

2. How do I make a return?
If you wish to return your order, please follow the steps below:
- Email care@mawei.no within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for return.
- Find the QR code on the delivery note included in your package. This will take you to Bring’s portal to create your return label.
- Carefully pack the item, include the completed return form, and use the return label from Bring to send it back.
- Once we receive and approve the return, we’ll refund the amount to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
3. Do you offer free returns?
For faulty items, we will refund the cost of shipping. For non-faulty items the customer is responsible for the shipping.
4. How long will it take to process my return?
Once the item is received at our warehouse, we aim to process returns within 7 working days. A confirmation email will be sent once the return has been processed.
5. Do you offer exchanges?
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or style, please return your item and place a new order.
ONLINE ACCOUNTS
1. Do I need an account to place an order?
Opening an account is optional and orders can be placed without an account.
2. What is the benefit of having an account?
A personalized Mawei account allows secure storage of preferred shipping and payment details for an easier checkout process. And all your order and shipping details are stored in the account.
3. What about if I can not access my account?
No password needed — we send you a login code by email each time you want to sign in. If you’re not receiving the code, check your spam folder or contact us at care@mawei.com
4. How is my payment information stored?
All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. Mawei never stores your payment details.
