Brown is the colour of indulgence

We call our new colour Cocoa because it serves some of our basic needs, solitude and comfort. In many ways, brown is an underdog among colours. Rarely mentioned when listing our favourite colours, mostly headed by blue, red and green. Brown is in fact consistently ranked as one of the least popular colours in surveys, but we seem to forget how important brown is for us. It's like our home base. where we feel both covered and secure and then comes the indulging character of the earth's most natural colour, that of our soil. We please ourselves with the browniness of hot chocolate or cocoa. We sneak in a brownie, treat ourselves to some dark chocolate, curl up under a cinnamon coloured blanket in a dark leather sofa while wearing our favourite coffee brown sweater.
